Optimo Care Group is proud to introduce Ken Mills, a newly completed specialist supported living service in Rochdale.
Created to give people greater choice, privacy and independence, Ken Mills provides ten self-contained one- and two-bedroom apartments, alongside a separate specialist single-occupancy home.
Most importantly, every person has their own front door and a space they can make their own.
Bringing a new service to life

Who may Ken Mills support?
Ken Mills has been created for adults with:
- Learning disabilities
- Autism
- Mental health needs
- Complex support requirements
It may also provide a carefully planned route into community living for someone moving from hospital, residential care or a placement that is no longer meeting their needs.
Every referral is considered individually. Support is shaped around the person’s assessed needs, communication, routines, risks, aspirations and desired outcomes.

Having a home of your own can provide privacy, stability and greater control over everyday life.
At Ken Mills, the accommodation and support model are designed to help each person feel safe, make meaningful choices and build greater independence over time.
Transitions are carefully planned, with assessment, compatibility, workforce preparation and the individual’s needs considered before the move takes place.

Only a small number of apartments remain available.
Ken Mills is now beginning to welcome people into their new homes. Commissioners, NHS teams, social workers, health professionals and families are encouraged to begin conversations as early as possible.
