We are proud to announce that we launched our ‘Optimo Annual PRIDE Awards’ back in January, reflecting our PRIDE values and with the aim of recognising and rewarding staff for going the extra mile to support us in providing ‘…a service to be proud of’. The window for nominations in the first (‘Person Centred’) category ran throughout the month and a total of 90 nominations were received.  Huge congratulations go to everyone who was nominated along with a big ‘thankyou’ to those who took the time to submit nominations – we are immensely proud of all nominees.

From the nominations received our panel, made up of senior leadership team members, shortlisted 5 nominees who exemplified this value, colleagues who stood out as a role model for others and who are bringing to life what this value truly means.  Congratulations go to the following colleagues, who were shortlisted and who will now progress to the final, with the overall winner being announced at our PRIDE Awards celebration lunch in September: Pictured left to right are Rachel Oxborough (Choices – Rotherham), Angela Haddington (Abbeycare and Nursing), Chloe Taylor (Local Care Services), April Hay (Stepping Stones Services), Gemma Hirst (Finance team – based in Barnsley).

What an incredible start to our first ever ‘Optimo Annual PRIDE Awards’, we wish all our finalists the best of luck in the next stage!
